Dust Storm at 3rd JK TYRE OYA Auto Cross and Motorcross event in Mohali, Punjab, INDIA

On 24th Dec'2011, it was final round of various competition categories in OYA Motorport event in Chandigarh. The day was full of dust all around the place. I was standing very close to these tracks and a black bag converted into yellowish color after I came out. Dust was negligible when bikes were flying, but during car races, it was hard to see what exactly is happening. At times, it was not able to click photographs as well. And at one point of time only two cars were competing. Basically these folks note the time taken by each car on a particular track and finally the fastest one wins the race. New Bus Stand of Capital City of Himachal Pradesh - Shimla

During one of the recent trips to Shimla, I visited Indian Institute of Advanced Studies and Shimla Bus stand was visible from the way which connect IIAS with Boileuganj. Shimla has got this beautiful bus-stand with lot of space. It is located near Tootikandi which is not very crowded region in Shimla. Supposedly this one of best Bus-Stand in North-India till 2011.

Reached Hatu Peak again - A wonderful place at 3400 mtrs. (11152 ft.)

Hatu Peak is near Narkanda. There is beautiful climb of 6 kilometers form main highway. Hatu peak has a temple and tourism come here for experiencing less-explored nature. It's an amazing place with wonderful weather on the top. It's situated at 3400 mtrs. Place has got one HPPWD guest house as well. Many bollywood moviews have been shot at this place.

Few days back, when I came out of my room this cat was hiding below the car. Usually she comes outside my room, although I always disappoint her. She has family in sector 26 of Noida and many residents like this family. 

On this particular day I had camera in my hand and probably she wanted me to cross first. When I didn't cross for a while, she thought of checking about the situation. When she found that I am still there and attentive, she thought of going inside again...

Is Delhi trying to compete with Mumbai ?

Rains are still ON in month of September and last night was unimaginably threatening !! All the roads in Delhi were jammed and parks were full of water ... All the benches in a nearby park were covered with water... 

It seems Delhi want to compete with Mumbai in rains because Delhi is already ahead in summers and winters... Rains were the only weak area !!! But Dear Delhi, please try not to compete and if want to have completion, please select J&K or Himachal for Summers :)

Best Excuse in Delhi - "Stuck in Jam"

It's been more than 6 years I am here in Delhi and till date I get this excuse of reaching late - 'Stuck in Jam'. There have been times, when I also used to travel in buses, autos etc which also run on roads. I used to reach on time but some people also use this excuse of heavy jam on the way. Being punctual is a matter of discipline and one needs to plan everything by keeping traffic in mind. Anyway, Metro has made our lives far easier than ever. Metro has given another opportunity to people to be more disciplined in life. I am a BIG fan of Metro because it has really given a predictability of time. Imagine that 1hr is enough if you are planning to come to Noida from New Delhi Railway station through Metro. And 1hr is upper limit ! Can any road vehicle be so sure about the timelines in Delhi?

Sector-18 and GIP are main places in Noida to hang out during weekends... There is lot of parking space in front of Radisson, Noida... We usually park here and roam around... Even if we want to go to GIP, this is best place to park as GIP charge 3 times what we pay here :) ... And its hardly 8 minutes walk from this parking area to Great India Place...

Media and Police are fully active due to Arrest of Anna and now hunger strike in Tihar

Suddenly Media people and Police people can be seen at most of the places around capital city Delhi. Police is even more active across the country. Most corrupt department of our country has something to do now and hopefully this time they are doing the duty without any greed. I can understand their pain but they have learn it now onwards.

Some of my friends are running a Software company in Mohali which is an industrial area near Chandigarh.. I clicked this photograph during my last visit, while I was going from Mohali to Chandigarh.. Roads in Mohali as well as Chandigarh are wide and well maintained... and really loved these cities... Going to Mohali again in Dussehra Holidays...
