It's been more than 6 years I am here in Delhi and till date I get this excuse of reaching late - 'Stuck in Jam'. There have been times, when I also used to travel in buses, autos etc which also run on roads. I used to reach on time but some people also use this excuse of heavy jam on the way. Being punctual is a matter of discipline and one needs to plan everything by keeping traffic in mind. Anyway, Metro has made our lives far easier than ever. Metro has given another opportunity to people to be more disciplined in life. I am a BIG fan of Metro because it has really given a predictability of time. Imagine that 1hr is enough if you are planning to come to Noida from New Delhi Railway station through Metro. And 1hr is upper limit ! Can any road vehicle be so sure about the timelines in Delhi?

Monsoons are almost gone now...
It was a lovely day in office... Usually come out of office to have a walk after lunch and this photigraph was clicked on back side of the office with my HTC Desire HD Mobile Camera... It was dark all around with cool breeze... No one was in a mood to go back to workstations and spend time with their computers or laptops... Suddenly rain started and we had no option... For last few days sky is brilliantly blue, which is hard to see in Noida or Delhi.... during summers it's very dull due to all the dust and pollution... and in winters fog makes the things worse !!!

Colorful artwork showcasing the beauty of our ancestors
This Photograph is from India Art Summit 2011 which happened during beginning of this year. One of the artist had various set of masks with amazing expressions... I am not very sure about the special thing about his art-works, but expressions were awesome...
Mobile click of Radisson Hotel in Noida (Sector-18)
Sector-18 and GIP are main places in Noida to hang out during weekends... There is lot of parking space in front of Radisson, Noida... We usually park here and roam around... Even if we want to go to GIP, this is best place to park as GIP charge 3 times what we pay here :) ... And its hardly 8 minutes walk from this parking area to Great India Place...

Delhi Metro - It's too busy to be imagined !!!
Don't go by this photograph. Dilli Metro is too busy these days. Just after lunch we come out of office to have a some rounds of walk. Today we were discussing about increasing population of India and especially the metro cities like Delhi. Delhi has been working on increasing transport infrastructure in terms of Metro, Red colored AC buses etc, but still all these resources are extra utilized by people in Delhi. Even it's not very easy to match the pace of increasing populations in these cities.
Anyway, Metro has really made life easy when it comes to time. with increasing traffic on roads, one can't be sure of timings about reaching a place because unexpected jams my ruin all plans. In case of Metro, one can have some level of confidence on scheduling his/her day !!

It's 10th Day of Anna Hazare's Fast and more citizen of our country are joining him at Ram Leela Maidaan in Delhi
Suddenly stand of UPA government has changed now. Why? If they feel they are right, why are they deviating from what they said few days back. Mr. Manish Tiwari is saying sorry now. Now they want to compromise democracy for few people in country..
btw, I am expressing with the words they used few days back. Somehow I feel pity on this government who express different opinions through different people in the party. If thought process on this issue is same, why people are not able to hear that through various party leaders saying random things on Television or press-conferences.
Anyway, whole country is really worried about this humble guy who is selflessly fighting against Corruption. Hope everything ends with good things.

It's 9th day of Anna Hazare's fast for Jan Lokpal Bill with different set of conditions !!!
Today's is night days of Anna's fast and there was an all party meeting today. By looking at TV information, it seems this meeting has not been very effective to have some conclusive action. Speakers from various parties are telling different story about this meeting. But it seems Salman Khursheed, Pranab Mukharjee are main negotiators from Government side and they don't feel very confident about reaching to a common consensus on some of the issues. Initially plan was to reach at some conclusion today evening and that seems impractical now.
Let's see how things work and Indians are preying to give strength to Anna for fighting against Corruption in our country.
I am really amazed by seeing the courage of this fellow !!! After 9th day of fast he is still speaking like a young folks... He is just talking about being young by heart and actions...

Senior Citizens of India are more actively participating in Anti Corruption Movement
Although many folks are questioning this movement, but the truth is that people in India are really frustrated of this increasing corruption at every level. That is why people are coming out of their homes to get together for this fight against Corruption. Lokpal is not the only thing that people are looking for. Idea is to reduce the corruption by right means. Now thing is - how to ensure that methods used to reduce corruption will be effective in long run. At some level we have to trust few folks who have been working in this area for long time and have right track records.
Does people really understand th intricacies of Jan-Lokpal versions by UPA, Anna Hazare or by other Social workers
By looking at News channels, Facebook, Twitter or other social media websites, it seems there were lot of folks in Ram Leela maidaan during the weekend. And all this shows that people in India are really frustrated of Corruption at each and every level. With all this we should be aware of following things -
1. We support right thing.. Anti-Corruption OR Anna OR a particular version of Lokpal etc.. (should be on basis of clear information)
2. We should be ready to say NO when it comes to bribing someone.

INDIA AGAINST CORRUPTON !!!
Anti Corruption movement is on peak and various people have different views about this movement. Some of the folks are fully supporting Anna, although some of them are not very well aware about the Lokpal version by Mr. Anna Hazare. But everyone is supporting for right reasons of reducing corruption in India. Some of the folks are not in favor of Anna ji but want clean country without least corruption. So all in all, citizen of India are fed up of corrupt system where everything runs through bribe channels. Scale varies from place to place, office to office, power-designation to position etc.
But again, question rises - Are we ready to take pledge that we shall not bribe people for our convenience. If we see, we are the people who have helped to increase this corruption at this level. If an individual can save 5Rs at the loss of 95 Rs for government, we opt that route as shortcut. Each of us also need to be more honest about our core values as well.

A silhoutte of Deodar tree near Indian Institute of Advanced studies, Shimla, Himachal Pradesh
Shimla is one of my favorite places to visit frequently and I have lot of reasons to like this wonderful place. Although I have seen people talking about traffic and other problems in Shimla, but I don't care and it's one of the best hill stations if you are really interested in nature, freshness, nice weather, cleanness, Architecture etc.

Most corrupt department of our country has something to do now and hopefully this time they are doing the duty without any greed. I can understand their pain but they have learn it now onwards.

Designer Metal Bangles on sale near Bhagsu-Naag Waterfall in Mcleodganj, Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh !!!
Mcleodganj is one of the most popular places in Himachal where foreign tourists come and over the time, overall environment of the place has changed a lot !!! Now if you visit Mcleodganj, foreigners are more than local folks there. Fashion quotient of the place has changed a lot. Even local folks have adopted to different lifestyles. Ornaments shown in this photograph are more popular there and most of the tourists are mad about these. This is the reason that shop owners ask for anything. One of my friend asked for a bracelet and he asked for 700/- !!! Finally deal was closed in 200 and we were sure that he must be earning enough in 200 as well !!! So bargaining works there :)
Arvind Kejriwal - A REAL LEADER of our Nation
Arvind Kejrival is a well known personality among Indians now and this is a great thing. Intellectuals like Arvind have been fighting for right system in India and they are continuing this fight. I know such people are not interested in Politics but we really need such folks in our parliament. Just to know about Arvind, check out -

"Arvind Kumar Kejriwal (born 16 June 1968) is an Indian social activist
fighting for greater transparency in Government. He was awarded Ramon
Magsaysay Award for Emergent Leadership in 2006, for activating India's
Right to Information movement at grassroots and social activities to
empower the poorest citizens to fight corruption by holding the
government answerable to the people.Early lifeArvind K...ejriwal
was born in Hissar, Haryana in 1968, and graduated from IIT Kharagpur
as a Mechanical engineer in 1989. His father was an engineer and he
spent most of his childhood living in small northern Indian towns like
Sonepat, Mathura and Hissar.CareerArvind Kejriwal was always concerned
about corruption and the passivity of the people. After quitting his job
with the Tata Steel, he took time off to work with the Missionaries of
Charity and the Ramakrishna Mission in eastern and northeastern India. He
joined the Indian Revenue Service (IRS), a part of the Indian Civil
Services in 1992. He was posted at the Income-tax Commissioner's Office
in Delhi as Joint Commissioner. Soon, he realized that much of the
corruption prevalent in government is owing to lack of transparency in
the bureaucratic procedures. Even while in his official position, he
started crusading against the corrupt practices. Initially, Arvind was
instrumental in bringing in a number of changes to increase transparency
in the Income Tax office." - From Facebook Page of Mr. Arvind Kejriwal !!!

Will Anna's imprisonment call for another Karnati in INDIA?
It's a big shame on UPA government that peaceful movements are being converted into an unnecessary drama in country and parliament.I have been watching TV for last two hours and it seems that Indians are really supporting Anna like anything. Poilce has already arrested 2500 people in Delhi and more are coming out of their homes to get arrested. All this also shows that Government has great fear from this movement and doing some random things. To me it looks like a beginning of BIG Movement now !!!

15th August 2011 - Happy Independence Day to all Indians !!!
Its a proud moment to celebrate 15th August, Independence Day of India !!!
The Independence Day of India is celebrated on the fifteenth of August to commemorate its independence from British rule and its birth as a sovereign nation in 1947. This day is a national holiday in India. All over the country, flag-hosting ceremonies are conducted by the local administration in attendance. The main event takes place in Delhi, the capital city of India, where the Prime Minister hoists the national flag at the Red Fort and delivers a nationally televised speech from its ramparts. In his speech, he highlights the achievements of his government during the past year, raises important issues and gives a call for further development. The Prime Minister also pays his tribute to leaders of the freedom struggle.
