Stack of Pitchers @ Rock Garden, Chandigarh, INDIA
Rock garden is near to Sukhna Lake. The entrance leads to a magnificent, almost, surrealist arrangement of rocks, boulders, broken chinaware, discarded fluorescent tubes, broken and cast away glass bangles, building waste, coal & clay-all juxtaposed to create a dream folk world of places, soldiers, monkeys, village life, women and temples. In the end there is a huge open space surrounded by different kind of mirrors having special effects. There are lot of things to do for children.

Kalka-Shimla Himalyan Queen Waiting for other Train to pass @ Barog Railway Station
BAROG was the name of a British Engineer who was in charge of digging the longest tunnel in this rail network. He started his work from both ends of the hill and unfortunately the two ends didn't align and never meat. British government fined him for wasting govt money. He was under depression and committed suicide.
On your way you can see SOLAN BREWERY and many other small passenger stops. Shivalik exp took nearly 5 hours for us but other trains takes more than 6 hours to cover the distance of 96 KM. During my journey most of the rivers were dry or left with little water as this part of the State gets water through rain.

Darwaza-i-Rauza (The Great Gate) that leads to Taj Mahal, Agra, Utter Pradesh, INDIA
The great gate stands to the north of the entrance forecourt (jilaukhana) ....
The corners are articulated with octagonal towers giving the structure a defensive appearance. External domes were reserved for tombs and mosques and so the large central space does not receive any outward expression of its internal dome....
Wah Taj Wah !!!
The Taj Mahal is a mausoleum located in Agra which is located in Uttar Pradesh state of India. Tajmahal was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal.
The Taj Mahal is considered the finest example of Mughal architecture. It has a style that combines elements from Persian, Indian, and Islamic architectural styles. In 1983, the Taj Mahal became a UNESCO World Heritage Site and was cited as "the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world's heritage."

Night view of Lotus Temple @ Nehru Place, Delhi , INDIA
The construction of the temple is similar to that of the Opera House in Sydney. The temple always looks mesmerizing. However, different light conditions have different effect on the way the temple appears.

Top view of ISKCON Temple from parking areas @ East of Kailash, Delhi , INDIA
We had snacks there after light and sound show @ ISKCON Temple... Spent some time inside temple and attended Aarti...
The entire temple is basically made up of red and yellow sandstone. The interiors are very simple in nature and decorated with paintings. The main attraction is the central hall which has a beautiful statue of Radha-Krishna and the walls decorated with religious quotes and customs. The temple museum has various models showing vedic tradition and culture including clothes, games, cuisines etc of that era. The state of art audio-visual hall organizes multimedia shows to help the devotees understand the story of the epics Ramayana and Mahabharata. There are talks for developing special section on Forbidden Archaeology based on human existence since the earth formed.... This sound and Light show is more about values depicted in Ramayana and Mahabharata...
