A Happy Gentleman from Himalayan State of India || Folks of Himachal Pradesh

This photograph was clicked last year in winters while I was in a small village of Himachal Pradesh. He was probably oldest person of village called Sarahan in Kullu District. He is still very active at this age and regularly visit his agricultural land near his village. Daily he brings wood or grass while coming back home. I loved the smile when I was clicking this photograph. Simplicity of life in Himalayas is unmatchable. People in hills have enough for their livings and they are quite happy with it, which is the key.

Multi-Religious walk around Mcleodganj Streets

Somehow I like this photograph and was not sure what title should be used for this one. I liked the way this Hindu sadhu is interacting these Monks who are going towards Budha Temple at Mcledoganj. This photograph was shot on the road which connects Mcleoganj Town with Bhagsu Waterfalls. Interactive combination of Red and Orange religions made me click this photographs, without spending any time in changing Camera Settings...

Freshness in the sky...

This is one of the photograph shot near Dharmshala in Himachal Pradesh. Bright, Colorful and Freshness... I really miss such sky in big cities like Delhi.

Food Photography Workshop by Dinesh Khanna and Aditya Arya at APEX, Delhi, INDIA

This photograph is shot during Food Photography workshop last week-end, which was conducted by Academy of Photography Excellence. India's popular Food Photographers Dinesh Khanna and Aditya Arya took with one day workshop. Anjali was part of this crew as Food Stylist. She is brilliant at it and loved the way she did all food styling for the shoots we did during this workshop. Above photograph shows Laptop screen with a photograph shot during workshop and one of the participants in background. Panoramic view of Monastery of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche Institute @ Chantra, Himachal Pradesh, India

This Panorama is made up of 7 different photographs clicked from left to right by standing on the stairs of main temple inside Monastery of Dzongsar Khyentse Rinpoche Institute. This is ahuge campus offering different types of courses. This shows 180 degree view from main temple and the main building in front of these huge hills, is the place where various monks/students stay. This Place is near to Chauntra Town which come on the way from Palampur to Mandi via Jogindernagar. Place is in Mandi District of Himachal Pradesh.

Presence of Budha in Mcledoganj, Dharmshala Town of Himachal Pradesh, India

Budha is present in various forms at almost every location in Mcleodganj, which is small town near Dharmshala. But many folks know about Mcleodganj and not Dharmshala. Dharmshala is district headquarter of Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh, India. Mcleodganj is basically a Tibetian colony with residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama. Also there is a temple near to Dalai Lama's House. Meditation Bowls in Mcledoganj Market around Dalai Lama's Residence in Himachal Pradesh, India

This is again a photograph from Mcleodganj but shot outside the famous temple of His Holiness Dalai Lama. This Photograph shows Singing/Meditation Bowls of different sizes in Mcledoganj Market. These are one of the famous shopping item around Mcledoganj streets and Bhagsu Waterfalls. I have been to Mcledoganj many times but during last visit I got to know about these wonderful pieces of metal which create nice sounds with vibration on rubbing a wooden stick against it's top edge. I have got one and with practice, I am able to get wonderful sounds of of it.

Prayers at Peaceful enviornment of Tsuglagkhang Temple near Dalai Lama's Residence at Mcleodganj, India

This is again a photograph from my archives, which I saw after a long time. This photograph is reprocessed again in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom. But important part is the way this lady is busy in her prayers at Tsuglagkhang Temple, Mcleodganj Town of Himachal Pradesh. I spent around 45 minutes on second storey of this building and she was at same place without any move. There were lot of other folks with strong belief and faith. It was great to see such a peaceful environment in hills and I could really understand the power with which Mcleodganj attracts people from different parts of the world. Many people come to this place for learning Tibetian Culture, Yoga, Meditation and proven ways to finding peace in this fast moving world.

Colorful Landscapes of Barot Towns in Himalayan State of India - Himachal Pradesh

This photograph was shot at Barot Town of Himachal Pradesh, which is located in Mandi District. This place is near to Jogindernagar Town, which has historical importance. Barot is very peaceful place with rich natural sources of Himalayas. This place is also popular for it's trout fish and Hydral project.

A brief view of ruins in Old Fort Campus, Delhi (Capital City of India)

This photograph was shot two years back when we visited Old Fort in Delhi. It's very close to Pragati Maidan and Delhi-Zoo. There is a huge campus with ruins spread across the place. This is one of the huge building inside Old Fort campus. You can make out an estimate of height by looking at the size of couple sitting below it.
