This photographs was clicked at India Gate during beginning of this year. These Papads are very popular in Delhi and can be bought on red lights as well !!! During early days, I used to avoid such things which are sold in open, because of Delhi pollution and dirt all around. Soon I realized that they keep these covered with a plastic piece. Anyway, all these are just excuses... Now I like them and eat wherever I find...

One of my friend was here in Noida with his son. I also met him for very short span of time and clicked few photographs. Out of all, I really loved this expression although I don't know what it conveys. Do you have any idea?

During my last visit to Banglore, I went to Malya's UB City and it was fabulous !!! There are some watr fountains in middle of it surrounded by various easting places and bars. Children really enjoy around these fountains and they simply love them !! I saw few kids even taking evening bath here ...

Recent addtion to my friend list !!!

I met these kids during my recent visit to Dharmshala... First I met Aarya, who offered Kurkure during our initial conversations :) ... It was really difficult to catch them in my cameras as they had extremely high energy...

On last day I requested them to pose for me and I clicked this one :) ... Aarya's friend is still wondering about the fact that why this fellow is clicking our photograph :)

Family time at India Gate in Delhi !!!


If there is some special occasion, or some guests are visiting you and you have no idea what to do... India Gate is the place to reach and have some fun during evenings !!! This is what I used to hear about this place that India Gate is most popular place in Delhi and especially it's best for family outings. I think it's still true if we ignore more frequent visits to Air-conditioned Malls...

After wandering here and there for seeing various flowers at Noida Flower Show, I went towards the other corner with lot of food-stalls... These two kids were really focusing on food items they should have after spending some hours seeing colorful flowers !!! I really liked these kids, as you can see the appealing dressed, shoes and the way they are positioned...

It's been long ime but still I have an impression alive about UB City in Banglore... What a place it is !! I have been posting about this place for some time and someone suggested me to visit DLF Imporio in Vasant Kunj ! I visited Emporio last month and still I feel that UB City is better in terms of overall alignment of showrooms, restaurants or common area for public... This Photograph is clicked near all the eating places at UB City !!

Colorful Fountains in the middle of UB City in Banglore, Karnataka, INDIA

Last year when I visited Banglore, UB city is one of the place in the list of Must-Visit places because I had heard a lot about it... And finally reached at the parking of UB City where we were the only ones to park Maruti Zen !!! Most of the cars in the surroundings were BMW, Mercs, Audi etc... Then we took a lift and reached in ground floor which looked like reception of a five star hotel... After roaming around we came towards open air restaurants which were too much crowded and had to wait for a long time... During this waiting time we had fun around these colorful fountains.. Children love these and used to play with water... Finally we ended up enjoying this evening around these fountains without eating anything.... After the lovely evening we had dinner at some Andhra Restaurant !!!

I am sure that you will be able to recognize this Lamp if you have visited India Gate or President's House in Delhi !!! These are made up on red stone and carved to give this shape... Most of the buildings in this area are made up of same stone.. Like President's House, India Gate, Museum of Modern Art etc...

Golgappe Vaala @ India Gate, Delhi

In India and specially in North part, Golgappas are very popular and for many folks, any outing with Golgappas is incomplete and useless ! So it's not hard to locate any stall of Golgappas in a market, around parks or some popular places to visit. This Photograph is taken near India Gate and these folks keep walking with all the stuff to serve people who come here during the evening !!!

Its very common to hawkers at some main places in India, selling some chutar-putar snacks, tea-coffee, golgappas, chips etc. Sometimes its irritating when some of the folks just keep following you to sell some stuff but that is not very common. But overall I like the idea as it gives many people a way to earn money through some hard work. I can imagine how difficult it could be to earn money in big cities of countries like India. Some people opt for short-cuts and illegal ways of earning good amount of money, which anyway impact others in negative sense. And these people try to earn their bread-n-butter through hard-work and I love it !!!
