Food Photography Workshop by Dinesh Khanna and Aditya Arya at APEX, Delhi, INDIA

This photograph is shot during Food Photography workshop last week-end, which was conducted by Academy of Photography Excellence. India's popular Food Photographers Dinesh Khanna and Aditya Arya took with one day workshop. Anjali was part of this crew as Food Stylist. She is brilliant at it and loved the way she did all food styling for the shoots we did during this workshop. Above photograph shows Laptop screen with a photograph shot during workshop and one of the participants in background. Laptop screen has photograph of Matar-Paneer dish with some ingredients spread on the table.

Religare Art Gallery showcasing their artwork @ INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011


India Art Summit 2011 - A good place to find out world's best Art pieces at one place - A three days event @ Pragati Maidan, Delhi, INDIA : Posted by VJ SHARMA on www.travellingcamera.com : Recently INDIA ART SUMMIT happened in Delhi at Pragati Maidaan - 21st to 23rd Jan 2011 !!! It was first time I planned to visit it with some of my friends... Here are few photograph from INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011 !!! Check Out these photographs of various art forms without any details about artists who created them. Sorry to all artists because I tend to forget names...Here is the first artwork we saw just in front of entry gate... It was cycle-Rikshaw loaded with lot of metal pots on it... No one was around who had camera and we were not very comfortable while clicked few shots of this art... These pots had amazing reflection of the whole area in surroundings but we couldn't give much to time to capture it better...A close-up but not very clean... @ INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011This one was my favorite ART there... Guess what it is? If you guess it correctly that means my photograph is bad ! There were approximately 10 people standing around this table and wondering why these old newpapers are showcased here? Everyone was at the distance of 2-3 feets from this table and none was allowed to touch any of the art works... Then one of the lady asked the artist to give some information about this particular art and everyone was like WOW, how it can be a artwork of marble stone... But yes it was made up of marble stone with some printing with specific powder.... Lovely Work !!!Check out if you can notice something in this capsule pack... If not, it may be because of my blurry photograph :) Here is a wooden art @ INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011Another form o artwork which was created with threads and no machine was used in this... Apart from thread some metallic strings were also used.... This Photograph shows a very basic and small portion of a huge artwork hanging there...Mirror Art - A Mirror created of various particles in triangular shape... This mirror was created very neatly and had wonderful effects from various angles.. Most of the visitors were spending lot of time in front of these mirrors at INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011Another artwork which was rotating continuously and yes many of th artists were using some mechanical or electrical supports to add more value to their arts... and most of the support material was also designed by these artists in their own way ... Deepak experimenting of various colors of INDIA ART SUMMIT.. I think he was trying to play with depth of field to get some special effect out of the special artwork of colorful buttons and pins !!! There was gallery of arts which were created from pins and buttons of different colors.. Some of these arts had abstract shapes and few of them had some shapes which we could recognize...Gang having fun @ ART SUMMIT 2011.... A Metal artwork @ INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011 - It was continuously rotating under wonderful lighting

Mobilegiri at Delhi Photo Festival which ended this Sunday (23rd Oct 2011)

Although 23rd was not the last day of Delhi Photo Festival but activities like portfolio reviews, Talks and Adda's will not happen during this week. Some Print Exhibitions are still going on in IHC and it's worth a visit to India Habitat Center in Lodhi Estate...

LIVE ART - The name I have given to this particular artwork in INDIA ART SUMMIT

Recent experiment with Adobe Photoshop Lightroom !!!

Recently one of famous Fashion Photographer met me during a Photowalk in Delhi and he told me about how he deliver final photographs to clients, Photo-agencies etc. He sends all the photographs to some editors for post-production and then share best results with clients. I was surprised to hear that he doesn't even know much about Photoshop or Lightroom !!!This Photograph is linked to an article I have written for that fellow to start with Lightroom !!!

Colorful artwork showcasing the beauty of our ancestors


India Art Summit 2011 - A good place to find out world's best Art pieces at one place - A three days event @ Pragati Maidan, Delhi, INDIA : Posted by VJ SHARMA oThis Photograph is from India Art Summit 2011 which happened during beginning of this year. One of the artist had various set of masks with amazing expressions... During last weekend I was looking at various collages on internet and found them fascinating enough to try one with my photographs.. I picked some of the photographs from Indian President House Photo-Shoot and created this one. Art lovers roaming around various artworks @ INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011

INDIA ART SUMMIT was a wonderful event in Delhi this year where artists from various parts of world came to showcase their art work !!! Various Art forms were showcased at Pragati Maidaan and I am sure people who visit ART SUMMIT, will always remember this event...

One of the popular Mirror art @ INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011

During INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011, this particular art piece was most popular !!! It was a huge Mirror made up of small triangular pieces attached to each other without any apparent distortion and have equal slope w.r.t. to surrounding pieces... Although I can't explain the whole thing in short but people really loved to see themselves in it and many folks were just experimenting with little movements on left, right and other directions :) ... As results were extremely different by a very small movement !!!


During INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011, this particular art piece was most popular !!! Guess what it is? If you guess it correctly that means my photograph is bad ! There were approximately 10 people standing around this table and wondering why these old newpapers are showcased here? Everyone was at the distance of 2-3 feets from this table and none was allowed to touch any of the art works... Then one of the lady asked the artist to give some information about this particular art and everyone was like WOW, how it can be a artwork of marble stone... But yes it was made up of marble stone with some printing with specific powder.... Lovely Work !!!Check out if you can notice something in this capsule pack... If not, it may be because of my blurry photograph :) Here is a wooden art @ INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011Another form o artwork which was created with threads and no machine was used in this... Apart from thread some metallic strings were also used.... This Photograph shows a very basic and small portion of a huge artwork hanging there...Mirror Art - A Mirror created of various particles in triangular shape... This mirror was created very neatly and had wonderful effects from various angles.. Most of the visitors were spending lot of time in front of these mirrors at INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011Another artwork which was rotating continuously and yes many of th artists were using some mechanical or electrical supports to add more value to their arts... and most of the support material was also designed by these artists in their own way ... Deepak experimenting of various colors of INDIA ART SUMMIT.. I think he was trying to play with depth of field to get some special effect out of the special artwork of colorful buttons and pins !!! There was gallery of arts which were created from pins and buttons of different colors.. Some of these arts had abstract shapes and few of them had some shapes which we could recognize...Gang having fun @ ART SUMMIT 2011.... Deepak looks unhappy with the results but Anchita wants to see what he clicked... Some amazing art work by Religare Art Gallery, CP, Delhi !!!Some famous personalities were roaming around to find out the best art for their houses....There were lot of foreigner Artists @ INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011He is about to stand up and have a walk at ART SUMMIT hall....Lot of Colors, Shapes and concepts @ INDIA ART SUMMIT, 2011

Here is another artwork from INDIA ART SUMMIT, which is made up of  medicines pack. It was an amazing piece of art which was created on such a small material.. Just have a look at this 2 inch medicine pack and imagine the amount of effort which would have gone for creating and fitting this couple inside it so brilliantly.

A wonderful piece of ART made up of marble @ INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011


India Art Summit 2011 - A good place to find out world's best Art pieces at one place - A three days event @ Pragati Maidan, Delhi, INDIA : Posted by VJ SHARMA on www.travellingcamera.com : Recently INDIA ART SUMMIT happened in Delhi at Pragati Maidaan - 21st to 23rd Jan 2011 !!! It was first time I planned to visit it with some of my friends... Here are few photograph from INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011 !!! Check Out these photographs of various art forms without any details about artists who created them. Sorry to all artists because I tend to forget names...Here is the first artwork we saw just in front of entry gate... It was cycle-Rikshaw loaded with lot of metal pots on it... No one was around who had camera and we were not very comfortable while clicked few shots of this art... These pots had amazing reflection of the whole area in surroundings but we couldn't give much to time to capture it better...A close-up but not very clean... @ INDIA ART SUMMIT 2011This one was my favorite ART there...
