Bhagsunag Waterfall @ Mcleoganj, Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh

POSTED BY RIPPLE (VJ) on PHOTO JOURNEY : Waterfall near Bhagsu Temple @ Mcleodganj, Dharmshala, Himachal Pradesh: Bhagsu Nag temple is in Bhagsu Village about a km from McCleodganj. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and has great historical significance. About seven streams, like miniature waterfalls flow here and these are considered holy with cleansing properties by devotees. A freshwater spring also flows through the temple and bathing in its waters is considered a spiritual experience in itself. The village of Bhagsu is originally a tribal Gaddi village, but now many Israelis have made it their home offering services and working to support themselves. In fact many of the signs are written in Hebrew and Hebrew is spoken in the streets, making the village a strange combination of Indians and Israelis. Misty Roads @ Kasauli, Himachal Pradesh

Kasauli is a small cantonment town in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The cantonment was established in 1842 by the British colonial rulers as a hill station. Located 75 km from Shimla, 63 km from Chandigarh and 48 km from Panchkula, it still retains the old world charms. My Recent Wallpaper : A shot of Bijli Mahadev

Posted by Ripple (VJ) : Recently I visited Bijli Mahadev, which is a small trek from Kullu. Since there is a road now, so we had to trek 3 km only. Its really an amazing place to visit and this was the best place I visited during my recent Kullu-Manali trip of four days. I visited many places like Rohtang, Solang, Vishishth, Naggar, Kullu, Manali, Manimahesh etc, but the best part was trekking experience to Bijli Mahadev... Bijli Mahadev is one of the sacred temples of the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh. It is located at an altitude of about 2,438 m in the Kullu Valley. Bijli Mahadev is one of the excellent temples in India. Jama Masjid surrounded by clouds @ Old Delhi

Commissioned by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, builder of the Taj Mahal, and completed in the year 1656 AD, it is the largest and best-known mosque in India. Its monsoon time in Delhi now...

Posted by Ripple (VJ) : Its monsoon time in Delhi now : A monsoon is a seasonal prevailing wind that lasts for several months, caused by the development of a thermal low over a land mass normally within the subtropics. The term was first used in English in India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and neighboring countries to refer to the big seasonal winds blowing from the Indian Ocean and Arabian Sea in the southwest bringing heavy rainfall to the area.A monsoon is a seasonal prevailing wind that lasts for several months, caused by the development of a thermal low over a land mass normally within the subtropics.
