Three years old experiments at my colorful office on a weekend :)

I found this photograph in an old Hard drive... Few years back I was addict of going to office every weekend because of various reasons :)This photograph is result of one of the experiments I was doing with small transparent spheres... I am not sure if it's clear from this photograph but would want to know about your perception after first look at this photograph?

Few Experiments with old Architecture of Jantar Mantar @ Delhi, INDIA - 7

Some Experiments with old architecture of Jantar Mantar in Delhi, INDIA : Posted by VJ SHARMA on www.travellingcamera.com : Last month me and one of my friend were waiting for other folks to reach Connaught Place in Delhi and they called us to inform that all of them are arriving after 1:30 Hrs... This was good opportunity for us to explore some place nearby and decided to visit Jantar Mantar... After reaching the place I was not able to decide what should I shoot... Everywhere people were roaming and it was really difficult to find a place without people... and it was not like two or three folks.. It was huge crowd in front of each yantra @ Jantar Mantar.. So finally I decided to have some photographs which can avoid this crowd and it gave a good opportunity to place with various angles/compositions... check out and critics are welcome !!The first photograph where I wanted to have darkest possible shadows to make it look like black tiles in contact with reds and white ones.. Although it doesn't look like that... I would have to wait to click this photograph at right time but we had to move out in few hrs... Never mind, I will try it again...This time I was carrying SONY Alpha-700 and was confused with some of the controls.. Anyway that's not important... These yantras were very narrow is shape and it was difficult to fit myself for clicking these architecture forms nicely... Here is a tilted view of a semi-spherical yantra @ Jantar Mantar...All these photographs from the same yantra and it was was quite interesting... But please don't ask me about how it functions and what it is supposed to do...Stairs hidden behind these structures and everyone needs to follow them to go down and see the real work inside these yantras.. In Jantar Mantar at jaipur, everyone was not allowed to go inside these structures but in Delhi I didn't see such restrictions except one which had highest structure followed by lot of stairs....Jantar Mantar in Delhi is a very popular place among activists, social associations and artists as well... Many of the NGOs choose this place to start a rally or protest... Also many artists have explored this very well and many times Photographers have exhibited this place...A Series of small pillars taking all the weight of small paths connecting outer circle of a structure with a pole in the middle... as you can see the turning path in a circle...One of my friend called it 'Stairs of Success'.. I don't if that is the name of these stairs but like the caption :)Final Photograph showing the close-up view of this architecture which shows the age of this structure and its been repaired multiple times in past which resulted in this roughness... I am again planning to visit Jantar Mantar in Delhi and will ensure that I get full day to spend there...

No place is out of its reach
Nothing can save you.
When you are working or even sleeping
It will hit you when you least expect.

The quitessential question
of existence, of purpose, of calling
spares no one.
And when the mind starts asking
where did I come from and where am I headed.
some pack their bags and head out
in search of answers
while others put their hands
on the back of their heads
and lie back, relaxed.
“I came from nowhere,
and nowhere am I headed.”

Few Experiments with old Architecture of Jantar Mantar @ Delhi, INDIA - 5

Although the photograph is dull but I have clicked this on a very special day... btw the dullness of this photograph is due to exporting it through a software which tried to be over-smart with the Photograph and spoiled the sharpness of newly bought Canon 50D :) ... This Photograph was clicked on a day when I had to wait for my punctual friends for 3 Hrs in Cannought Place in Delhi !!! I just walked to Jantar Mantar and enjoyed the day with my Camera :)

Few Experiments with old Architecture of Jantar Mantar @ Delhi, INDIA - 5

Janatar Mantar in Delhi was one place which I planned to visit many times in last 6 years but never realized. Few Months back, I was in CP with one of my friend and we were waiting for other folks to join. After waiting for a while we decided to go to Jantar Mantar, as its at walkable distance from Cannought Place in Delhi. After that we asked our friends to join us there and whole day was very well spent shooting this beautiful piece of Architecture. Jantar Mantar provides lot of opportunities for Photographers who love to shoot architecture, colorful subjects, people or want to try something different with shapes and colors. Raindrops on the Windshield

Travelling Camera on a long Drive in Himachal Pradesh: Mandi :: Hamirpur :: Sujanpur :: Palampur :: Dharmshala :: Palampur :: Baijnath :: Biling :: Jogindernagar :: Posted by VJ on www.travellingcamera.com :: A couple of my friends got married in June this year. I along with a few other friends took this opportunity to travel across Himachal on road. Therefore, the long itinerary. The sights en route were countless but here are the shots of some of the most remarkable ones.Road in the Mountains with Green trees on both the sides. Looks like a green tunnel. Road between Hamirpur to Palampur through Sujanpur is pretty good. There is a small strech of 8 kilometers which is comparatively bad but work was going on there... I traveled through this road after 4 years and it has improved a lot... Road has been widened between Hamirpur and Sunjanpur, which has reduced the major pain...Raindrops on the Windshield. The shot was clicked close to Dharamshala, one of the wettest places in India. It receives a lot of rain, second only to Cherrapunji...This is a short-cut for Dharmshala when you move from Palampur through Chamunda.. This particular road was bad but you need not to worry, because main road from Palampur to Dharmshala is amazing... After new cricket stadium in Dharmshala, it's maintained very well...Beautiful Cloud Formation... Palampur Region is simply amazing and these days I am dreaming of a Villa in Palampur Hills, Valleys, and a solitary house at Billing. Bir-Billing, in Kangra district near Baijnath, is regarded as among the best in the world for Paragliding. Billing (2290 m) is the take-off site and Bir (1400 m) is the village at the landing site. The road distance between the two is 14 km. Bir is sheltered by the Dhauladhar mountains and the ridges behind keep rising to 3000 mtrs, 4000 mtrs, 5000 mtrs and one after the other so as pilot can fly at 4000 mtrs and still watch the mountains tower above. Bir is a beautiful village surrounded by tea gardens and spectacular scenery, whereas Billing offers unique opportunities for high altitude and cross country flying and flights of 180 kms have been achieved from here...The house reflected in the side-view mirror...On the way to Jogindernagar from Baijnath... There is a wide road from Baijnath to Jogindernagar.. and very good for leisure drive... Many times I suggest the drive from Palampur to Baijnath and when I saw this road after Baijnath, I am not sure what to say ...

The shot was clicked close to Dharamshala, one of the wettest places in India. It receives a lot of rain, second only to Cherrapunji...

Rock Garden @ Chandigarh (Some amazing artifacts by Nek Chand)

Rock Garden: Rock garden is near to Sukhna Lake. The entrance leads to a magnificent, almost, surrealist arrangement of rocks, boulders, broken chinaware, discarded fluorescent tubes, broken and cast away glass bangles, building waste, coal & clay-all juxtaposed to create a dream folk world of places, soldiers, monkeys, village life, women and temples. In the end there is a huge open space surrounded by different kind of mirrors having special effects.
