Boy having holy bath at Golden Temple, Amritsar (Punjab State of India) || Beginning of New Year 2012

This photograph is clicked on 1st Jan, 2012. This Boy was having holy bath at Golden Temple on a chilling morning with mist all around. There were lot of folks from various parts of Punjab and surrounding states at Golden Temple. I have been to this place many times, but this time it was too much crowded and there was hardly some space to freely move around. Everyone wanted to start the New Year with God's blessing.

Mobilegiri - Lady from hills, busy in usual morning things with her kids !!!

While travelling from Kullu Srahan to Shimla, this photographs was clicked from moving car. It's a click by HTC Desire HD and somehow it came out quite clear. Folks in the car were wondering, how she can do this to his kid :) ... Weather out there was chilling. Although she is wearing a half sweater, but temperature was below 10 degrees. This place was surrounded by snow capped hills and this kid is taking bath in open. Probably this is not a big deal for them, but this photograph still make me shiver in summers as well. See kid expressions and his hands.

Reached Hatu Peak again - A wonderful place at 3400 mtrs. (11152 ft.)

Hatu Peak is near Narkanda. There is beautiful climb of 6 kilometers form main highway. Hatu peak has a temple and tourism come here for experiencing less-explored nature. It's an amazing place with wonderful weather on the top. It's situated at 3400 mtrs. Place has got one HPPWD guest house as well. Many bollywood moviews have been shot at this place.

Monsoons are almost gone now...

It was a lovely day in office... Usually come out of office to have a walk after lunch and this photigraph was clicked on back side of the office with my HTC Desire HD Mobile Camera... It was dark all around with cool breeze... No one was in a mood to go back to workstations and spend time with their computers or laptops... Suddenly rain started and we had no option... For last few days sky is brilliantly blue, which is hard to see in Noida or Delhi.... during summers it's very dull due to all the dust and pollution... and in winters fog makes the things worse !!!

Lot of Tourists trying to capture Humayun's Tomb on a Foggy Day during Feb'2011 (Delhi, INDIA)

An American Lady walking around Humyaun's Tomb in Delhi, INDIA

Few days back I met her at Humayun's Tomb and she wanted to ask something but hesitating to start.. First she started with a simple question about my Camera and introduced herself. She was travelling in various parts of India for last few days... She keenly observed some of the worker there who were doing some maintenance work at main Tomb... She was mainly worried if these people are completely going to change the monument or it's just few main pillars of the Tomb... Although she was appreciating their work and some of them were really changing the art-works on the walls...

Suddenly after few minutes of conversation with this lady and I also thought about it ... and realized that soon we may see a new/Modern Humayun's Tomb if not maintained well !!!

Is this Monsoon Rain today?

It's very odd when you get a telephone call at 7:00 am on sunday morning ! I was sleeping and was not in a state to talk well.. I asked my friend to have another nap and we shall chat during the day... Just after disconnecting the phone, I heard the sounds outing... Initially I was not very sure if it is rain sound or someone is watering the plants... But soon after listening continuously to this, it was confirmed that it's rain :) Finally time arrived to say Good Morning Sunday - 11:01 am and rain was still in it's mood.. It seems that Sunday will be a rainy day today... But is it beginning of Monsoons as well?

Is there anyu relationship between Monsoons-2010 and Common Wealth Games 2010?

Noida parks flooded with water after rains 2010 - Sector-26 : Monsoon Effect in Noida : Posted by VJ SHARMA at www.travellingcamera.com : This weekend I had to go for a Photo-Walk at Old Fort in Delhi but due to heavy rains I canceled that program and woke up at 11:30 am on Sunday... After that I came out and noticed that many areas in my sector were flooded with water and the park near my house was completely filled with rain water in it.. Here are few photographs of the Sector-26 park after rains on Sunday...Here was the first few I saw in the morning... and then want back to my room to have Camera for capturing these moments :-)One part of Sector-26 park in Noida... where everything is flooded in water and one can walk on the concrete pathways on all four sides...I have seen worst condition of Noida after rains this year... I have been staying here for last 5 years and never seen this kind of after-effects of rains... Noida which is short for the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, is an area under the management of the New Okhla Industrial Development Authority... Noida has first-class amenities and is considered to be one of the more modern cities of Uttar Pradesh State of India. It is also home to the Noida Film City...Arre bhai kahan jaoon.. har jagah Paani hi Paani...Fresh green leaves after rains...When it rains, look up rather than down. Without the rain, there would be no rainbow...Noida is a major hub for multinational firms outsourcing IT services... Many large Software and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) companies have their offices in the city...Generally noida is green and well planned as compared to other cities in UP.... although many of outsiders don't find it a good city to live...Here is the bench where we used to spend lot of time after dinner... Many times plan for morning walks but finally stick to this bench....Rains, Rains go away... please...some reflections inside the water... Hope it gets dry in short time...Reflection of colorful benches in Sector-26 Park in Noida...Water, Water... Everywhere water... no place to sit and no place to play around...Can we store this water somewhere? Many times I see folks in Sector-26 who waste lot of water for washing their multiple cars in summers when some of the areas in Noida doesn't get enough water for their routine activities... but now rains have already washed their cars :-)Its sad that children were not able to enjoy/play outside due to these heavy rains...
